Jeff “Red” Dunning, 52, Bryant, died Saturday at his home.
Born in Celina, Ohio, he attended Blissfield (Michigan) High School.
He was the son of Ronald Harold Dunning and Carolyn (Schmidt) Robertson and the stepson of Robert Robertson.
An avid raccoon hunter, he was a member of Bryant Coon Hunters Club and was a logger.
Surviving are his fiancé, Mary Pennington, Bryant; four sons, Justin Pennington, Geneva, Maylen Dunning, Willshire, Ohio, Rocky Truex, Geneva and Jackson Truex, Vera Cruz; two daughters, Lacy Dunning, Willshire, Ohio, and Jamie Ford, Fort Wayne; four brothers, Ron Dunning (wife: Cheryl), Rockford, Ohio, Seth Dunning, Florida, John Robertson and Chuck Robertson (wife: Melissa), both of Hudson, Mich.; three sisters, Joann Dunning, Michigan, Vicky Robertson and Jan Gibbons, both of Ohio; and five grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home in Geneva with Pastor Alan Crull officiating.
Visitation is 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home.
