Claude L. Burks, 79, Dunkirk, died Sunday at his home.
Born in Wilder, Tenn., to Homer and Tonzie (Boles) Burks, he is survived by his wife Wanda (Ooten) Burks.
He worked in the hand shop at Indiana Glass for more than 37 years.
A lifetime member of Kingsley Full Gospel Church, Dunkirk, he had also been an elder and deacon and was the church custodian.
Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Lisa Burks, Dunkirk; a son, David L. Burks, Winona Lakes; a grandson; three sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; a cousin; and a niece and nephew.
Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at MJS Mortuaries-Dunkirk Chapel, with Pastors Clarence Baker and Stewart Phillips officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Dunkirk.
Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be sent to Kingsley Full Gospel Church in care of the funeral home.
