Carnival set for Saturday

The annual Geneva Car Show will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday in downtown Geneva. Registration is from 3 to 6 p.m. and the cost is $10. There will be prizes for the top 30 and dash plaques for the first 75 cars.
Geneva Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will also host a Family Fun Day Carnival from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday. The carnival will also be held in downtown Geneva and will feature games and food, with fireworks beginning at dusk. For more information, call (260) 849-2191 or (260) 368-7251.
Born 2 Learn Summer Camp will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, June 27, at West Jay Community Center in Dunkirk. The camp is an international early childhood parent education program of the Youth Service Bureau for children 3 months to five years old. It is designed to enhance child development and is proven to increase kindergarten readiness and school success.

Free blood pressure and osteoporosis screenings will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Fort Recovery.

The Preservation Society of Union City will host a tour of Dan and Carol Wasson’s gardens and ponds at their home on Saturday.
Tours will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Dan will give a discussion on landscaping at 12:30 and 2 p.m.

The 34th annual Prehistoric Artifacts Exhibit will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday on the lawn of the Mercer County Historical Museum, 130 E. Market St. in Celina, Ohio.
The exhibit is free and hosted by the Mercer County Indian Relic Collectors.
Centerstone Foster Care will host an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Jay County Public Library. A video will be shown and staff will answer questions about foster care. Refreshments will be provided.
The farmer’s market at Minnetrista will be open from 8 a.m. to noon each Saturday and 3 to 6 p.m. each Wednesday.
